Chinedu O. Nwasike, MD, joined Nevada Orthopedic & Spine Center in 2021 and sees patients at their office in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is Board-Certified in orthopedic surgery and treats all conditions of the spine with both nonoperative and operative modalities.
Dr. Nwasike attended college at Columbia University, School of Engineering in New York City, New York, where he received his Undergraduate Degree in 2009. He received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 2014, where he was enrolled in the Physician Scientist Training Program. Dr. Nwasike remained at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he completed his Orthopedic Surgical Residency in 2019, during which time he was elected Chief Resident. Following his residency, he completed his fellowship training at the prestigious Twin Cities Spine Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he trained in all aspects of spine care.
Dr. Nwasike specializes in degenerative spine disorders, scoliosis, spine deformities, spine tumors, disc herniation, and disc arthroplasty. His surgical techniques include minimally invasive spine surgery, disc replacement, and robotic spine surgery with computerized navigation.
Dr. Nwasike was born and raised in Los Angeles. He is excited to be in Las Vegas, which will provide the ease of quick trips to visit his friends and family in Southern California. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, weight-lifting, golfing, and cooking.
