Esmaeili

Akram Esmaeili, PA-C, SA-C, is a dual-certified physician assistant and surgical assistant specializing in spine orthopedic surgery with more than 25 years of clinical and surgical experience. She joined Nevada Orthopedic & Spine Center in November 2025, working closely with Kevin Sharif, M.D., in the management and surgical treatment of complex spinal conditions. Akram’s background includes extensive work in general orthopedics, sports medicine, trauma, and total joint replacement, with a primary focus on spine surgery over the past 15 years.

Akram began practicing as a physician assistant in 1998 after earning her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Western Michigan University. She has more than a decade of experience in general orthopedics, and spent several years with a highly respected orthopedic group in San Jose, California. In 2022, she relocated to Nevada where she served as an orthopedic spine PA contractor at Nellis Air Force Base, providing spine care and first-assist surgical support for the military community.

Ms. Esmaeili is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and holds dual certification as a Surgical Assistant. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Nevada Academy of Physician Assistants.
