Benjamin J. Hochhalter, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant who joined Nevada Orthopedic & Spine Center in 2017. He specializes in general orthopedics, treating arthritis, fractures and injuries to the extremities.
Benjamin has worked in the urgent care setting as well as in rural areas of underserved populations. He is licensed by the state of Nevada; can examine, diagnose and treat patients; perform minor surgeries and assist physicians in major procedures.
Benjamin has been board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants since 2005. This board certification means that he has passed the Commission’s rigorous exams and has maintained the necessary continuing education requirements to remain active. He is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Benjamin earned his Masters of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree from Idaho State University. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Boise State University and an Associate of Science degree from Brigham Young University.
