Billing & Insurance

The patient is responsible for all medical bills in our office. As a service is rendered, our office prepares and submits standardized insurance claims directly to all primary insurance carriers. The amount the insurance company will pay is determined by the terms of your policy. We also bill secondary insurances for our patients. However, the responsibility for payment of your bills is yours regardless of the insurance provided. You will receive a monthly statement from our clinic as long as your account is active.

If you are having surgery, be sure you understand exactly what your insurance covers and why. This information can be confirmed through your insurance company. Many insurance carriers now require pre-authorization, second opinions, and daily utilization review for elective surgeries.
